-ENOGEN: Efficient biofuel production. In the biofuels market, corn with Syngenta’s ENOGEN® trait makes bio-ethanol production substantially more efficient. As well as producing more fuel from a given amount of crop input, it can cut a typical bio-ethanol plant’s water use by around 1.7 million liters a year.
